About Me
Leone joined OSACO Group in early 2020 bringing a 25-year background in investigations with extensive experience in the investigation of sexual harm and trauma-informed interviewing and a dedicated survivor-centred approach to her work.
Leone brings advanced investigative knowledge and expertise in navigating politically delicate contexts to her work with OSACO Group. Operating from New Zealand, Leone has undertaken and managed complex investigations both remotely and on the ground for the UN and INGO and corporate clients across the globe.
She is a highly effective investigator who has the capability to collaborate effectively with organisations, communities, and diverse cultures. She establishes trust quickly and effectively and with integrity in order to advance investigations and achieve desirable outcomes.
Leone is a confident boots-on-the-ground investigator and is comfortable undertaking investigations in any setting – from the busy city to remote villages. Leone will adapt her approach to the environment she is in utilising her highly developed ‘soft’ skills and innate ability to tackle what needs to be tackled.
Highlights have included conducting training for investigative interviewing using the UN Philippines Minnesota Protocol and leading a complex investigation into government corruption in the Solomon Islands for NZ Police.
