Terms and Conditions

EFFECTIVE DATE: FEBRUARY 16TH, 2020

1. Booking a workshop

When booking an OSACO Group workshop you are also signing up to these terms and conditions. You will receive an email to confirm your booking and an invoice from our Finance Department that is due on issue.

2. Workshop fees

The fee includes participation, course materials, refreshments and lunch on each full day. For half-day events, we specify in the online booking details if lunch and refreshments are included. Participants are responsible for finding and paying for their own accommodation, if required, and travel. Residential events will be clearly indicated and will include accommodation.

For some workshop, early-bird booking offers are available for eligible participants. If this is the case for the workshop you have booked, please follow the procedures to apply for the discount.

3. Payment

Please ensure to process your payment fees as soon as you receive the invoice. Payment must be received before you attend unless otherwise agreed in writing with OSACO Group. Please note that non-payment after booking a workshop does not indicate a cancellation unless you have informed OSACO Group that you no longer require your booking.

Any and all bank charges incurred in making payments for course fees are the responsibility of the attendee, including, where applicable, any Correspondent Bank charges deducted en route. Any shortfall must be made up in cash on arrival before an attendee starts the workshop.

Please also see our cancellation policy below.

4. Visa requirements

For participants who require a visa to attend one of our workshops, OSACO Group can provide an invitation letter. If you need an invitation, please email [email protected] immediately after paying for your place. Please note that we need to have received your payment before an invitation can be issued.

5. Cancellation policy

Cancellations more than 28 days before the beginning of the workshop incur no penalty, and we will refund your fee in full, less our bank charges. Bookings cancelled 8 – 28 days in advance incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the paid fee.

Cancellations less than 8 days in advance, as well as no-shows, are charged in full. Substitutions of attending personnel may be made at any time without penalty. Cancellations and substitutions must be done by email to [email protected] or the Workshop Coordinator.

Workshop fee payment is due on receipt of the invoice. As our workshops are very popular, and places are limited, please let us know at your earliest convenience if you need to cancel your booking.

Please note that the cancellation policy is applicable for all bookings made, as a place has been reserved for you. OSACO Group reserves the right to require payment of unpaid invoices of no-shows, as these incur the same cost for OSACO Group and prevent the place being offered to other participants.

6. If the workshop is cancelled by OSACO Group

Occasionally we may have to cancel or postpone a workshop. We always try and give you at least two weeks’ notice, unless an emergency such as security conditions has led us to cancel the event. If a cancellation takes place, we will refund your event fee or transfer your booking to another date or event, whichever suits you best. Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund travel or accommodation expenses. Please note that cancelling our events is very rare.
