Claudia Zehl
About Me
Based in Germany, Claudia has 15 years of worldwide experience in programme and team management in humanitarian response and international development. She has developed extensive experience in Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) and safeguarding, including setting up organisational safeguarding standards and frameworks, case management, and capacity development for national and international organisations and the UN.
She is a trained investigator, particularly in complaints related to sexual misconduct and different forms of workplace harassment. She is an engaging facilitator on various topics, such as PSEAH and safeguarding, Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) investigation and SEAH investigation management.
Claudia is a certified counsellor specialising in art therapy and post-trauma counselling, and has technical expertise in mental health and psychosocial support in (complex) emergencies. Claudia holds a Master in Intercultural Conflict Management and is a certified mediator.
Claudia’s extensive international experience in programme management with communities and in senior leadership roles allows her to engage fully and constructively when deployed to place international standards relating to PSEAH and Safeguarding within real world contexts on the ground.
Claudia speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
