About Me

Shelley Nisbet joined OSACO Group in October 2023. Since then, she has been involved in numerous investigations involving allegations of SEAH (sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment). She has also undertaken due diligence investigations pertaining to global companies and high-profile persons of interest.

Prior to joining OSACO, Shelley had a 25-year career in investigations: mainly in the field of sexual and serious physical crimes against women and children. Her experience includes working on the Christchurch City Terrorist Attacks in 2019, where she was involved in interviewing and supporting the victims, witnesses, and families of the deceased. She also spent two years as a senior investigator on the New Zealand Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in State and Faith Based Care. More recently she has worked as part of a select team that investigated the historic sexual abuse of more than 300 boys at a private Anglican boarding school in New Zealand.

Shelley is skilled in survivor-centric and trauma-based interviewing and is able to build rapport with a wide range of people. Shelley holds a private investigator license and has qualifications in humanitarian response and disaster relief.
