Somoetic Intel Group (SIG)

Somoetic Intel Group (SIG) is a science-based, human-centered training and consulting firm specializing in investigative interviewing, information elicitation, intelligence analysis, and professional communication. SIG helps organizations enhance the quality of human intelligence gathered throughout all types of interactions and improve how that information is evaluated, interpreted and used to support sound decisions.

SIG’s programs are designed for professionals working across corporate investigations, retail asset protection, human resources, compliance, insider threat, law enforcement, mental health, and other public- and private-sector environments. Its training combines established behavioral science with practical interviewing, investigative and analytical experience, providing participants with flexible principles and techniques that can be adapted to different people, purposes and contexts.

A defining feature of SIG’s approach is the integration of practitioner expertise and psychological science. Programs are led by experienced investigators and behavioral health professionals who translate research on rapport, memory, cognition, communication and decision-making into practical skills. Interview training emphasizes ethical, science-based methods that support more accurate, complete, and actionable information without relying on rigid scripts, coercive practices, or unsupported assumptions about human behavior.

SIG’s intelligence analysis training builds on this foundation by helping professionals organize information, assess its reliability and relevance, identify patterns and information gaps, recognize the effects of cognitive bias, and develop well-supported analytical judgments. Together, these capabilities help organizations strengthen the full intelligence cycle, from eliciting information to analyzing and communicating what it means.

SIG is headquartered in the Chicagoland area in the United States and provides training and consulting services across multiple industries and professional disciplines.

Through its partnership with OSACO Group, SIG supports the use of EchoMind within the United States retail and corporate sectors. EchoMind’s AI-powered simulations provide professionals with opportunities to practice interviewing and communication skills through realistic, responsive interactions and receive structured feedback on their performance.

The partnership combines SIG’s instructor-led training and science-based methodology with scalable, technology-enabled practice. Together, SIG and OSACO are helping organizations improve how professionals communicate, elicit information, gather human intelligence and translate that information into actionable insight.
